Fuel additives
My dealer recommends me fuel additives annually, is it needed?

Probably not needed, no. But at $13.50, might as well do it. Couldn't hurt.

The fuel additive is nice for direct injected cars where the fuel injectors reach into the combustion chamber. I use Techron Complete Fuel System Cleaner the tank before every oil change. It's the other MB approved fuel additive - I used this regularly on my DI cars and it worked very well for smooth operation. I just put a bottle in my wife's GLC before the first oil change. Techron is $8 USD here.. if they are offering the MB one for $13 and they do it with the service, may not be worth the hassle to get it elsewhere. Go for it.

As long you use Top Tier gas Chevron, Shell or 76 you don’t need this.
