I'm ordering a 2020 GLC 300W4 with AMG (DG3) and designo Platinum White Pearl and Black Nappa Leather. I also want to get the heated steering wheel option 443. The DOG says it is possible but you lose the flat bottom wheel. I'm ok with that. My dealer says that you can not get the heated wheel with that configuration. Has anyone had any luck with this configuration?

Your dealer is wrong. I've seen a handful of AMG pack cars with the standard heated steering wheel.

I have the same GLC on order (actually it was produced on Jan 21 awaiting shipping) with the same package DG3. You can get a heated steering wheel with the DG3 but it reverts to the standard heating steering wheel NOT the AMG Wheel. The wheel will not be flat bottom and will have black plastic each side of the hub rather than silver. That is what I chose since I live in Denver and the heated wheel was very important to me.

You can't get a flat bottom heated wheel. That's why it's not and option on the GLC43 and GLC63.

Thank you for the help. I pushed back with the dealer and he said it can’t be ordered with the designo interior. Is there any way I can direct him with more information. Does your build have both the AMG package and the designo interior?

Go to the MBUSA site and select build for the GLC300W4. When Desingo leather and AMG Line(DG3) are selected select the heated steering wheel as an option, The build accepts the add. If you scroll down to the disclaimer on the heated wheel the following is stated"If ordered in combination with AMG Line or designo leather upholstery, flat-bottom sport steering wheel is excluded from package." I.E you get the standard heated wheel.
Note this is for the DG3 package on a GLC300 NOT a GLC43 or GLC63 which have their own build pages.
