For those that are not happy with the drivers side mirror, there is an option to add an aspherical curved mirror in place of the stock version.
Ever since I picked up my 2019 GLC300, I have been troubled by the terrible blind spot on the drivers side. The blind spot warning function on the car works fine, but I still like to see more on the side. And I did not want to add one of those cheap stick on mirrors.
The VW's I've had in the past I have been able to source curved mirrors for the drivers side. These are the same mirrors that come standard on German vehicles. Every time that I drive in Germany, I enjoy this function. But I have not been able to find them locally.
I found this mirror on Ebay and pulled the trigger on it. It is a used mirror that came out of Belarus, and it fits and works perfectly. It still has the blind spot, self dimming and heated function, but with the added aspherical curved surface.

I'm now able to see everything that is on the drivers side behind me.
