Fuel Consumption
Hi,
I’m currently looking for a used GLC for wife and have come across what I think is unusual:
we are looking at a 2016 220d Sport Premium Plus model and have found its spec to state that average fuel consumption is 40.4 mpg. It’s CO2 emissions are 159g/km. Another 220d Sport we have found is a Premium model, not Plus and it has a consumption of 56.5mpg. It’s CO2 emissions are 129g/km. Why the big difference? The only difference is the spec where the Prem Plus has side steps and perhaps some other bells and whistles. Are these figures spurious?

There should be no difference between figures regardless of spec.
MB website will give you CO2 figures and MPG which is probably not going to be achieved in real world.
I'm sure others here will be able to confirm what you should expect in terms of MPG from a 220d.
My 250d is showing 35mpg currently on the trip computer!
