Inductive Charging interference

I have the inductive charger option on my 2020 GLC. I've noticed that when I charge my phone, I hear a "swoosh" noise periodically through the speakers. As soon as I remove my phone from the pad, the noise goes away. Sometimes just changing its position slightly on the pad makes it go away.

Has anyone else noticed this? Can the dealer do anything to fix?

I've had problems with inductive charging pads in my house making noise if the coils aren't properly aligned. My thought is that the alignment is close enough that charging can occur, but the current has to be boosted significantly. This is probably inducing a current somewhere in the audio system, leading to the "swoosh." This fits with your statement that changing the position of the phone makes the noise go away.
