Head-Up Display

Hi all

After months of research, I've finally decided on the GLC 300. However, I'm trying to decide if I should get the head-up display or not. Would you recommend it? Why or why not?

Forgot to add, I mainly use Google Map for my navigation. Would the navigation info be displayed on the HUD? What other info is displayed on the HUD?

Yes, as long as you are using Android Auto the Google directions are displayed in the HUD. Surprised the he'll out of me

I find it useful, everything I need is there so I barely look at the dash and leave it displaying the Assistance panel so I know for sure that the car realised there's another car in front of me

Looks like I'll be adding this option to my new GLC. Thanks a lot!

Sure, If you contemplating it, get it and if you don't like it, turn it off. I thought I would need it, Bought one without and never looked back.

Have it and love it. Keeps my eyes on the road. It went out for 1day and I missed it.

Reminder: HUD doesn't work with polarized sunglasses. My wife was giving me fits that the HUD on her E300 wasn't working, until I asked about her sunglasses...

Well, it depends. Tried different cars and sunglasses over the years: BMW head up display is useless with polarized sunglasses. Doesn’t matter what the brand...

My Oakley works with MB head up display. It is not as bright as with regular sunglasses, but it is visible.

Have you tried tilting the head slightly, does it help?
