Dynamic Route Guidance
2020 GLC MBUX . There is a setting option for "Dynamic Route Guidance" with secondary settings, "Automatic,On request, or Off" . Nothing I can find in the manual to indicate what the function does or how to use. Any help??

Dynamic Route Guidance is route guidance based on traffic data and automatic rerouting if a faster route is found. With the setting set to automatic, it will automatically adopt a faster route as it becomes available and reroute. With On Request, a prompt is displayed informing you that a faster route has been found and then you can either accept it or continue on the current route. With the setting on Off, no rerouting based on traffic takes place.

Thanks found that in the manual. I thought that might be the answer to a glitch I'm having but doesn't look like it. It seems like every time I leave home, stop somewhere and restart the car the system automatically sets up a route to "Home" even tho I haven't asked for navigation. I then have to cancel route guidance. Any ideas why?

The only thing that comes to mind is the commuter route feature (page 340). If it's turned on, it learns your commuter routes and if it detects that you are on a commuter route it automatically starts a navigation w/o voice output.
