tail light conversion to 2020

anyone tried to install the 2020 GLC new design tail lights onto the 2018-19 GLC?

GLC

I would rather convert to 2018 taillight but Euro spec with Amber turn signals.

Try UK ebay for yellow turns I put euro passenger and driver side mirrors on my ML and Mini cooper. I like the dual convex look.

I believe someone did it on a GLC63 in that forum. I think he just needed the new lights and they were plug and play.

Hi have you tried to retrofit the lights?
I'm on the same situation as I have the lights but not sure if I can swap them.

I have a set of 2020 GLC tail lights and cant seem to get a wiring diagram for 2020...
Let me know what you do.

unfortunately I don’t know what to do , i have the lights as well , i have the 2020 wiring diagram, I will message you, i also ordered the plugs or connectors from mb as the ones we have are different

if you find out how to rewire please let me know

the eurospecs have an led strip to the left of the reverse light. For us Americans and maybe some others, we have a plastic strip. Hence a whole new set and rewiring are needed.

I am having hard time deciphering the above tail light wiring diagrams. I am looking to splice a trailer wiring harness into my 2018 GLC 300 but I can’t determine the correct wires to splice for Right and Left Turn Signals, Brake Lights, and Running Lights.

PS: my 2018 has factory installed LED rear tail lights with the more square blue connector. Not the flat white connector. Not sure if that makes a difference on wire colors.

Please help if you can with any info you can spare.

Good decision, I had crack left tail light on my GLC 250 GCC (Middle East) equivalent with European socket white colour, I did not realised when order on e*ay US they sent me Blue connector and the signal light is the stop light and flickered faster as it was failed bulb so I have to change the wiring from the car as the Blue connector and white has different grove and wont enter.
