GLC 300 2020 SUV
Sound from under the GLC2020 after switching off
My car is just one month old.
Right after turning off the car, I can hear a tock-tock sound coming from under it. It continues for several minutes before dying down. The dealer said it could be the catalytic converter, but I haven't heard anything this loud from any other cars. Is it a common thing?

True, I just wanted to know if other GLC owners have the same observation. Otherwise it could be an issue with mine.

2016 GLC300 (prev 99 C43 AMG)
I think it's normal of modern cars. My 2016 GLC300 makes plenty of noises after being shut off, unlike my previous 99 C43 AMG.

I get similar noises
Varies depending how hard it was driven, though ordinarily once home I get the exhaust noises you mention

2018 GLC 300
Seems normal - vents, fans, etc. opening, closing, turning on and off.
