Annoying Driver Side Rattle Finally Found

After owning my 2019 GLC300 for nearly 2years I finally found an annoying rattle coming from the driver sun visor. The noise occurred at relatively low speeds while driving on city streets with the usual imperfections. Having the visor down has temporarily stopped the noise until I can add some Velcro. Owning my first luxury Mercedes with this constant rattle nearly drove me crazy. Hoping this may help any others with this issue.

It’s not a true luxury, unless you add Velcro.

Recently I was able to find buzzing sound source, which to me was coming from passenger door or side, at the end it was sunglasses holder, not glasses, even when its empty.
Was very annoying.

I’ve been having a crackling/ needle scratching, speaker popping sound coming from the middle dash speaker 2016 GLE350 4Matic.
The dealer Checked It but couldn’t find anything wrong. It was a sporadic / intermittent sound.
I didn’t have a Bluetooth phone connected to the vehicle either.
I even recorded the sound and gave it to the dealer’s advisor to forward to MB for further investigation.
Never heard back from either one.
Extremely dissatisfied with this luxury brand.

Maybe because it was first year after facelift, but my 2014 ML was absolutely quiet rattles free car. Missed it so much.
ML build in US and GLC 100% build in Finland,
expected more quality.

EU quality is like downhill skiing ⛷. Just to clarify that the popping speaker sound would come on, while driving, radio off, no Bluetooth or Apple Music connected to vehicle. The popping sound was medium in volume. After a while, while driving, it was becoming quite annoying. It would come on and off for no apparent reason. MB never could solve it. And I’m just going to accept it as the “star”s promise to quality

Buzzing sound would better describe what I was hearing. With your input I was able to isolate the sunglasses holder as the cause. Thanks for sharing.
