GLC 250 AMG dynamic
EASY ENTRY DOES NOT WORK.

Hi ,

I just bought a GLC 250d Dynamic AMG. and i wanted to activate the easy entry into the car.
on the option on the screen. i made sure to put on. but when i open the door. when i turned off the engine. the seat and the wheel doesn't auto slide.

auto the kick open in the back does not work(like when you kick and the trunk opens up). i am wondering is it the model that i bought that doesn't work or is there a set up that i need to do.

please help.

my new GLC 250.

The hands free kick opening is tempremental to say the least.....just because it doesn't work doesn't mean you don't have it!!

Yup, Easy Entry/Exit is bugged. Supposedly a dealer software update fixes it. Perhaps take it in, ask them to update any seat-related modules, and check if that fixes it.

Does 2020 and up actually move the seat as well? 2019 and before moves only the steering wheel which is of little utility

There was a long thread about this topic in the X253 forum. Apparently, the kick comes from the parking assistance package in the US. ???

I just got back from the dealer -- brought mine in for the circuitous navigation directions (sometimes it takes me one exit further on the highway, has me turn around and backtrack back to the correct exit). Not sure if that is fixed, but they did a software update. I have NTG6/080 now, which is supposedly "FUP3").

When I exit the vehicle now, both the seat and steering wheel move correctly -- so its definitely a software update, and that was the only one listed on my invoice (but who know what modules actually got updated).

Unrelated to that, with FUP3 can you now ask Mercedes to open the roller blind? Or sunroof?
