Oil catch can 2017 GLC

Hi All
I have a question about Oil Catch Can's on 2017 GLC 2 ltr engines, do they have them or does MB deal with crankcase gases (PCV) in some other way so as to not gum up the intake valves in the direct injection engines?

No catch can and no easy way to add one either. Mercedes built in a crankcase vent with an air / oil separator. It’s a nice system although adds complexity and repair cost when it goes bad. If you want to see what’s involved component wise, look up “P052E” and see what people went through with that engine code. It’s plumbed between the intake manifold, under the left engine mount, and to the air intake.
