AMG option Seats vs non AMG option seats

I'm looking at CPO GLC on the web and see most do not have the AMG option. I have been trying to compare the interior differences. I know the exterior differences especially the grill which I like. Question , does the AMG option seat have more side booster in the seats. Im on the older side of life and excessive side poster makes it harder for me to get out of the car.

Yes, they do. The side bolsters are very pronounced. You have to lift yourself over the bottom one to get in and out. You can't slide in or out of the seat, and if you constantly put your weight on them the leather will wear quickly, so it's advisable to make as little contact as possible with them while getting in and out. It does help if you swing your left leg over it and rest it against the back of the seat and the lowest part of the side bolster and then lift yourself out of the seat. With the GLC it's a little different because the seating position is high. With my C63S the seat is low down, so I have to lift myself out of the seat with muscle power and bracing against the B-pillar depending on how wide I can open the door. They are awesome seats, I love them, but it does require a somewhat fit and limber body to get in and out.

EDIT: Here's a render of them in my car, and below a comparison picture of the standard seats. Unfortunately, the current configurator on MBUSA.com doesn't give a good view anymore. I grabbed this picture from the configuration when I built my 2019 C63S Coupe, but you can see that the standard seat side bolsters are less pronounced, especially the bottom ones.

I think the question to ask first is...do you mean the AMG Line package (mainly cosmetic upgrades like a different grille and a few other odds and ends) for the GLC or an actual AMG GLC model (with a different engine and a different grille even from the AMG Line package in addition to several other tweaks)? You didn't specify so it makes it a bit harder for anyone to give you a really helpful answer. I have a 2020 GLC with the AMG Line package. On the MBUSA site it indicates that "sport front seats" are part of the package. That seems to translate to slightly more side bolstering compared to a regular GLC without this package, but nothing major (I'm a big guy and still have no problem getting in or out of the vehicle and don't feel too confined in the seat either). And definitely nothing like what superswiss described in their comments, which appear to relate to an actual AMG model rather than a regular GLC with the AMG Line appearance package.

Good point, I didn't realize which GLC forum I was in. You are correct, those seats are the AMG Performance Seats and only found in actual AMG models.

Agree with above. I could barely tell a difference between the AMG line and standard seats when sitting in them immediately one after another. There is barely any additional side bolstering.

Thanks JEDC1 - you answered my question, I'm not looking at the GLC 43 but a base GLC with AMG option. Again thanks.

Yeah the seats on the AMG line are essentially the same.
