17 GLC cabin tire noise
Hi
Has any one checked what the noise level in db-a is in their GLC, in mine at 110 km/hr Perelli scorpion rf with 4/32 tread remaining it is 70-72 db-a on old pavement and 68-70 on new.
What I am looking for are tiers that will give 60-62 db-a on the old pavement, a lot to wish for I think.
The Nokian WR-G4 are not much better.
Any one have suggestions?
I need all season or all weather.

i just purchased a set of Michelin Cross Climate 2 on 235/60/18
i haven't measured the noise level with a meter, but I have about 2000 miles on them and find them extremely quiet. Significantly quieter than the Pirelli Scorpions that they replaced, and in general they are very quiet on all road surfaces. Even on rough pavement they make very little noise

I have removed the run flat tiers and installed Nokien WR-G4 and little or no change, on the really bad pavement they are lauder.
As for the acoustic glass the expense to have it installed would prohibitive and that is not were the noise is coming from, it is coming up through the floor.
