Can anyone tell me how to check if my air conditioning is working properly?
My windows are not demisting as well as they should. The light under the ac button is lit.
Would appreciate any advice.

generally leave the AC on all year round as it uses the compressor to dry the air inside the cabin in the wintertime. Also, leave the system on auto abs just set the temperature. That should resolve any problems. I’ve only noticed fogging or condensation when I’ve manually set the settings of when there’s a ton of ice/snow outside necessitating the use of the actual defroster for front and back.

I never turn off ac...haven't in any car I own for years!
My quandry however is that currently my car windows seem to be fogging up more than normal and I'm not sure how to determine if the ac is in fact working as it's supposed to....ie drying the air!
