My son recently won a work quarterly sales campaign at his place of employment. One of his companies biggest accounts is MBUSA. Usually incentives he's won in the past are travel related i.e. Hilton, Marriot combined with various airlines as they are all clients. This time due to the travel/airline industry margins being down because of Covid, MBUSA $$ was the award. He recieve $10K from his company and MBUSA towards the purchase of any MB product. He has been driving a 2013 GLK350 that he bought thru MBUSA used as a CPO. The GLK just hit 60K miles and was due for about $2500 worth of service and tires, so he decided to spend the money burning a hole in his pocket. The GLK was paid off and he worked the MB dealership for $19K trade in value. So for his GLK + MBUSA$$ and $1K outta pocket he drove home in a 2017 CPO GLC300 4Matic with 16K miles. The dealership added another 12 months to the CPO warranty and it goes in Friday for new tires front brakes. It's funny to think that this kid was a total Japanese performance car fan/owner until my grandson was born. Now the interest is safety/comfort and the finer things in life...LOL ! He's in Washington State and I'm in Alabama. I had to cut him off around 11pm CST last night...nonstop texts..."Check this out....It does this and this and this..." Proud Pop !!!
Sounds like some of, "Proud Father" and "Maturity" have definitely rubbed off on the guy.. Congratulations to you and your son.
