Hi. I've just leased a 2021 GLC a few days ago and have been getting random BEE-boop sounds in my car. It happens while driving, while I'm in PARK, it's even happened twice while the car wasn't even running. This last time, I opened the passenger door to grab something from the glovebox and it beeped at me again. The car wasn't even in Accessory mode!
I've searched this forum, other forums, the user manual and even asked my salesman. Some people say it could the collision warning, but why would that be happening if the car isn't even on?
If I can't figure this out, it will drive me crazy not knowing why it's happening. Does anybody have any clues or suggestions as to what's going on?
btw, This is my first Mercedes. Happy to join the family!
Our 18MY has two brief beeps when we get a text message when our phones are paired to the car. It's a different beep than the forward collision and not an "emergency" sounding beep - it's more of a subtle alert. Could this be what you're hearing?
Come to think of it the beeps are similar to when you're in reverse and the parking sensors detect an object in your path.
My 2017 makes a single beep every time I open the driver's door, accompanied by a "don't forget your key" message on the cluster. The collision avoidance system also rarely false-alerts to dips in the road or very close roadside trees.
Thanks for the responses so far. I still haven't figured it out yet, though. It's not while locking or unlocking. It's not the same as the single beep when I open the driver's door. It's not text messages. Hopefully I'll figure it out sometime. It's just so random.

we had those random beep boop noises on both our cars. Turned out to be the alert notifications setting within MBUX. I believe it was under the SAT radio function for emergency alerts, etc. turning that off fixed it on both cars.

Thanks, I'll take a look and see if that's it. I never use SAT radio so could certainly be that.
