'20 Active Break Sensor Location

I do not have any of the driver assistance systems (steer assist, adaptive cruise, lane keeping assist, etc.) that come with the Distronic plus system on my '20 GLC, As far as I know, the only thing I have is the active break feature which comes standard. I am getting a PPF over my front bumper and grill tomorrow and want to ensure that none of the sensors will be affected by the film. From what I understand, the only thing I have behind the star on the grill is the Illumination wiring (wouldn't be affected by PPF). Does anyone know if the active break sensor is located behind the star? I don't want to run the risk of covering up that sensor if it is indeed located behind the star. I've seen a lot of mixed opinions on where that sensor is located. If it's not behind the star, I should be fine to cover with PPF since I don't believe I have any sensors behind it that could be negatively affected.
