GLC 300 Drive Assist

I will call the dealer tomorrow. Is there any way to understand that this car has a drive assist option from the windshield pictures?

One of my friends says if there are to cameras on the front windshield it has the drive assist.

Yes, you can tell from the front. Cars w/ the driver assist package have two cameras plus the rain sensor in between as you can see in the first pic of my C63. The second pic is from the GLC 300 loaner I have at the moment, which doesn't have the driver assist package. It only has one camera plus the rain sensor. Another give-away is the Mercedes Star. In cars with the driver assist package, the star is painted on a flat black plastic piece as the radar sensor for DISTRONIC is behind it. Cars w/o driver assist package have a 3D Mercedes Star. The car you are looking at doesn't have the driver assist package.

if it has driver assist there should be 2 buttons to the left of the steering wheel right above the light switch as well. hard to tell from the photos but it doesn't look like it has any buttons.

Correct, there are several buttons that go along with it as shown below. The left two are for the lane keep assist and the active steering assist and the middle two are for the parking sensors and 360 camera, which are part of the parking assist package separate from the driver assist package. I don't know what the last one is (EDIT: Oh I think that's to turn the HUD on/off, I don't have the HUD). On newer models the 360 camera button moved to the center console as it also serves to activate the parking assist (self-parking).

The 2020 and 2021 no longer have buttons to the left of the steering wheel. Everything is integrated into MBUX. The best way to tell is the steering wheel, 3D vs 2D star, and the full two triangles.

All of my controls are on left side of steering wheel. Works pretty good. Worth the price.
