I am trying to install a rear dashcam. The only last bit got me stuck.
I could not find a way to remove the tailgate panel.
When I prised, seems only one tab came off, but the next one too tight. I do not want to damage it.
I checked the internet but could not find the method or technic.
Did found a query in another forum on the same subject, but no answer.
I have attached photo from that forum. Acknowledgement to the photo originator.

I will try and see what I can find over the next few days.
I was going to install my system, but acquiesce and had an Indy auto elec install front, rear, radar (for stationary alert parking) and back up battery pack to take load off main battery when parked. For $150 hard wired install, with all wiring concealed I was happy. Thinkware U1000 system……

Hi Mate
Found the way. JUST pull it out that's all.
I just realize my missus A-Class (W176) has the same look on the trim.
(Should have look at her car, hmm)
When I search youtube for A-Class W176, there is a video on it.
