Our 2021 GLC has the "Intelligent Drive Package" and it is really superb. Definitely worth the added cost. Coupled with the surround cameras, it reads speed limits, brakes or accelerates in cruise control according to traffic and alerts to lane issues, etc. perfectly. Quick note: easy to turn off the alerts by pushing the button on the left side of the console to avoid all the noises when you go through a car wash.

Took delivery on our GLC300W4 in May. Lucky we got it when we did. Was built just before the chip issue arose. This is our 13th Mercedes, going back to 1972, and it is by far the best we have owned. Have 7000 miles on it and no issues.

Which button are you referring to?

It's the second one from the top on the left side. right below the "Dynamic" toggle and is marked with a "P". When pushed, works great to silence the sensors in a car wash.

I have the Driver Assistance Package in my 2020 GLC. It's the precursor to the Intelligent Driver Package. Most of the features are the same. I have found the active distance keeping assist and the stop and go assist to be extremely useful. There are several situations near where I live that frequently form long-distance stop and go traffic lines of 5 miles or more. The GLC handles this otherwise stressful situation automatically. All I have to do is sit and enjoy the scenery. It's well worth the money for me. In 2020 the package cost $1700US.

Yes, I have the Driver’s Assistance package in my 2021 GLC300. It’s incredibly advanced…love the way it changes lanes when signaling intention. I also like the way it gently eases me back into the center of the lane if I happen to drift. The Distronic is wonderful when the driver develops a sense of trust. Not there yet! It seems to apply the brakes a bit late for my taste. Maybe I’ll get used to it?
