Hey there everyone. I'm quite new here and I have only posted once before. But I'm in need of your assistance. I'm hoping to capitalize on many of your knowledge.
I recently purchased a brand new 2021 GLC 300 with night pack, it came on the standard Night Pack 19" wheels which I feel look a bit small. I would have prefered the optional 20" wheels but they are quite scarse right now.
I have found a set a very lightly used GLE wheels and tires locally. Fronts are 275/45/R21 and rears are 315/40/R21
Based off of what I have read others post I am conflicted. The fronts are only 10mm wider than the standard GLC63 tires but the rears are significantly wider and about an inch larger in overall tire diameter.
Do you think I could have them fit without rubbing?
The reason is the width of the tire is too much wider than original one. Such wide tire would need higher engine horsepower.
Check the tire size website, it has tire size calculator that can tell if the rim would fit.
Thanks for that pal. I appreciate the guidance. I was certainly leaning towards making the purchase as they were a great deal. But I've reconsidered. I'll wait until I can find a set of 20's instead.
