Staggered 20” AMG OEM wheels on GLC 300

Looking into putting a staggered set up (20” AMG OEM 9.5” width) on my 2018 GLC which has the AMG line option.

Although the staggered set up is reserved for the AMG GLC43/63, what is everyone’s thoughts on putting staggered on a GLC 300 for pure aesthetics.

Anyone have any pics if they have gone this route?

Thanks!

2016 GLC 250d AMG pack, 2017 GLC Coupe 250d AMG pack , 2002 BMW 330Ci convertible, 2021 BMX X1 sD20i
Wagon and Coupe versions of GLC basically same chassis and running gear.
Our wagon has 20” rims all around.
Our Coupe has 20” staggered as OEM delivery.
there is 12 months difference to manuf dates between them.
I cannot see any reason why you cannot put staggered on rear axle - you may need to let your ins company know to not void cover ?
Our Coupe has fitted the slightly wider rear plastic mudguard fitted, easily swapped over.
There appears to be no other changes, no spacers, etc.
You will have to replace rear tyres with different profile, keeping to same brand and type as your front so as to not upset multiple sensors and braking systems.
There are several Brands that offer 20” tyres to suit front and rear setups so rubber is same grip, etc.
You can keep rear rims and tyres for spares for front.

Thanks for the information.

Wanted to get some input on whether or not the staggered set up would look good on the GLC300 even though it is not the AMG GL43 model.

Требуется , чтобы получить некоторый входной сигнал на том или нет ступенчатого установить будет хорошо выглядеть на GLC300 , даже если это не модель AMG GL43. [/ QUOTE]

2020 AMG GLC 43
Have you actually found the tires you'd like to put on? Because as far as I know, the only all-season option for the 20" AMG wheels are the Goodyear Eagle run-flats, which have an awful, harsh ride. You can find a couple brands of winter and summer tires in both sizes (255/45/20 & 285/40/20), but you'll have to switch em out twice a year. As an AMG 43 owner, I'd kill for some all-season replacements that are NOT run-flat, but I can't find any.

Yes, indeed, the all-season Goodyear Eagle Sport is terribly tough, I ride them in the summer, I bought a Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 for the winter - I really like it.
Our climate does not allow for all-season Goodyears in winter.

2019 E53 Cabrio, Lunar Blue. 2020 GLC 300
We have a 2020 GLC 300 with the AMG exterior package. Staggered 20, same wheels exactly as Igor’s pic’s above . Sold me on the car. My absolute favorite wheel. They look awesome and came from the factory that way. Ride? It’s fine with those run flats, but I’m driving a lifted Rubicon 4 dr with 35s as my daily. Her GLC is a dream compared to Rubi. ( well I was up until Friday when I traded the Jeep). Go for the staggered!
