Mercedes Benz GLC-Class X253 GLC43 Genuine Aluminium Running board set upgrade
Running board are always essential for SUVs due to the ride height. However, as you can see this X253 GLC43 hasn't got this option at first.
The Genuine side footstep kit comes with all necessary accessories so installation was straight forward.
Adding side foot step allows the driver and passenger to get on the car much more easily and of course, the car really does look better than before.

Definitely looks cool - nice installation work :-).
I was torn on this option, but when I tried it out I found that I was just tall enough that it wasn’t that useful for me and I’d be stepping over it more often than using it. But you can’t beat the looks… very cool!
Happy driving!

Yes , side steps do look good.
Our Wagon has them as standard delivery, we are looking to have them removed, more of a hindrance- car not high enough off ground and steps too narrow to use.
On our Coupe we had steps deleted at manufacturing- sooo much easier to get in and out.
We are getting older, so maybe knee and hip issues come into play, but steps tend to cause clothing to get marked and dirty when wet and muddy.
Your car looks great though - enjoy.
Did you keep your old side skirts ? Would you consider selling and posting to Australia ?
