$236. He said they have to drop the bumper and remove headlights. Not sure why the headlights. That’s the first I’ve heard of that after reading everything on how to remove bumper. That price seems awfully high. I canceled my appointment and may just try it myself without dropping the bumper. Unless I can find a cheaper shop.

I found a local body shop who would drop the bumper and install for just $100. That seemed like a pretty good price, so I pulled the trigger yesterday afternoon. It only took them a couple of hours to complete. It looks great. Needless to say, I'm pleased overall with the grille itself and the installation. What a difference it makes vs the stock.

Thank you. Yes, that's the one I bought. The guys said it fit perfectly and needed zero modifications.

It's funny that the Mercedes dealership here was telling me that no non-OEM grilles would work and that I'd have to spend around $4k for an all new bumper (since part numbers aren't listed for swapping out the grille only) in order to achieve the look I got for $226 total.

I'd expect nothing less! Their business model certainly doesn't include referring business to Chinese parts sellers and indy body shops! I bet if we really closely examined the GLC43 the bumper might be slightly different and the grille wouldn't fit the GLC300......
EDIT: so let's do that! This A/B comparison would be better if you took your pic at a slight angle but it's still pretty clear that the OEM GLC43 bumper is different, so no surprise the OEM GLC43 grille won't fit with the GLC300 bumper:




I think that many people refer to grille shapes as "A-shape" or "V-shape" (maybe "H-shape" describes the GLC300 better as it's pretty much straight up and down). When my GLC300 arrives, debadged and with AMG Night Package and a black spoiler, that grille will fool many naked eyes that it's a GLC43, unless there's a real one nearby, lol!

it's doable the dealership is not very knowledgeable you better off taking directly to the service people they know tricks and I've installed one on a CLA you will need buy aftermarket grille but they sell that grille for lot cars .

Check out the photo earlier in this feed. I ordered the grille several weeks ago and was able to get it installed by a local body shop here near my home for only $100. It turned out great.

DRE, why would you reply to a post from six weeks ago, when KCSam has since bought the darn grille, had it installed and posted the pics of it?? It's not that the dealership is not very knowledgeable, they're just not in the business of promoting Chinese aftermarket parts to modify their cars. Like I stated above weeks ago, the OEM GLC43 grille likely would not fit KCSam's 2020 GLC300 without replacing the bumper.

BTW KCSam, the shape of your 2020 grille is different than the 2022 I'm waiting for, and the eBay listing for your grille lists only 2020 and 2021 as compatible. I've got some additional research and shopping to do, but it seems that 2022 brings a "second facelift"??

I'll install myself you just got be careful installing sensors my car has all the sensors so that will be fun on the back bumper lol shouldn't be too hard though. Do you mind sharing the link / cost of it shipped to you? Just wondering if fitment is the same on SUV.

As for the foglight chrome strip.. I too have been looking for it for a while. Even turn to the dealer hoping they have it as a consumable OEM part but they dont. Do you think that chrome strip is attached with 3M tape? I dont think the strip is specific to GLC43. In fact, I think GLE has the chrome strip in the same length.

$153 shipped, and it's NOT the same for the SUV. Contact the seller (Kevin), he's very responsive and knowledgable; he wanted pics of my car to confirm it's a coupe.

As for the chrome strips, the OEM part may be the entire L/R lower grilles. I tried to buy the OEM AMG grille but gave up, as I couldn't get consistent answers from parts departments.

here you go.. Haven't had a chance to install yet.. Not a perfect glove fit but it will work. Ad mentions it is for CLS but is not high cost so took a risk. Also notice quite a bit of scratches along the edge which will not be visable until you are very close. So far I have remove the double-sided tape and use my own 3M tape.

I, too, looked at those chrome pieces a few months ago, but from what I found on Amazon and eBay they will not fit my '20 GLC 300. It looks like they only fit AMG style bumper. Has anyone found anything different?
