GLC diesel - ADBLUE
Do you guys normally top up the Adblue yourself or done via by whomever service your GLC?

Originally the 27l tank lasted 27,000km and the GLC would be serviced at 25,000km so no issue.
BUT now that MBAu have quietly altered the AdBlue consumption, owners are now seeing consumption of AdBlue reduce from 1lt every 1000km to around 1lt per 400km !!!!!!!
They have not communicated this to owners in Oz.
In UK they issued a Bulletin and wrote to all diesel owners and to advise them, as well as extending warranty on NOX and sensor systems due to accelerated usage rates.
I recently filled my tank at local truck stop AdBlue bowser at $1.00 a lt. Easy to do using nozzle - much cheaper than 10lt for $42.00 or a 1lt for $10.00.
My range full is now 12,500 km.
AdBlue needs to be stored lower than 30c and depending on maker, lasts up to 2 years - check packaging for manuf date.
You can check your remaining range by checking menu button on steering wheel and scroll through to Service info, scroll down to AdBlue for your remaining range.

Some discussions on specific GLC forums in Whirlpool in Oz as well as new AdBlue forums for general discussions for all users in Oz.
Good luck.
