Side door chrome molding
The GLC door has nice body line on the door but missing molding for protection. I am interested in adding some aftermarket chrome for looks and protection. I am a chrome sucker and I need your opinion on which one you like and why.

OPTION A - High grade ABS









OPTION B - Stainless steel

I like option B also. However, I am worry about the material. Being stainless steel and low ground placement mean it will collect moisture, dirt, and road salt during winter snowy months. It will rust eventually and affect the door panel and fender panel.

I can't imagine it would provide much protection installed at the locations shown.
