Hello everyone first post here, I was recently gifted my sister's MY18 GLC 300 4matic with 13k on the clock ( My brother in law bought her a 2022 Bently Bentayga, custom built by her)
. Picked the Merc up in the early evening, driven home from US19 in the smoothest ride compared to my previous RAV4 and encountered a chip on the hood the following day after work. I inspected the exterior of her vehicle thoroughly so would've noticed this prior, and don't recall hearing being pelleted on the HWY.
. Does this look like a stone chip to you guys, initial impact then it skidded up a bit or someone was being a tool. And what recommend route I should take to address the chip?

I apologize for the late reply, I've contacted Dr. Color Chip and they directed me to one of their mobile tech partners in my area, to address that and few spots at the lift gate.
