Mercedes Me Connect

Will Mercedes Me Connect support more than one user on the same car?

Yes. Whoever will be the primary registered user will need to invite others thru their profile. You can't register the same vehicle to two different Mercedes me accounts.

You can add up to 3 users to each car. They all need their own Mercedes me account and they get their own profile in the car, so you can personalize each user's settings and switch the profile in the car to the correct one for the current driver. There's a setting to bring up the profile selection screen every time the car starts, so the driver can select their profile.

ahh, so no sense in me creating my own until my wife invites me (or more likely, I log into her profile as her and invite me)...

what sort of settings are in the profile? I'm sure I could look it up but better coming from a user.

also @superswiss thank you for your insights on this forum. I note that you don't have a GLC in your forum profile; are you contemplating getting one?

Most vehicle settings are part of the profile. Instrument cluster layout, driver assistance settings, mirror, seat memory, ambient lighting, light settings, DYNAMIC SELECT Individual mode configuration etc. No, no GLC for me or any SUV for that matter. But all these cars share many of the same components and things work pretty much the same across all models.

Oh, so maybe that's the way to get it to default to Eco over Comfort!

well then thanks for bringing your knowledge to "foreign" forums. I usually only check the forums for models I own or owned (or am shopping for!)

No, you can't change the default mode. It'll always start in Comfort, but each profile can have its own individual mode configuration. Like one driver may prefer the steering in Sport and everything else in Comfort, and another driver may prefer the steering in Comfort, but everything else in Sport, so each driver can have their preferred setup for the individual mode. There are outfits such as RJ Automotive and others that offer coding or modules that allow the default mode to be changed, but it's gonna be across all profiles. Some models have a prompt you can enable. If that's enabled, MBUX will ask you for a few seconds if you want to reactivate the last used mode, and if you confirm then it will switch to the last mode, but it doesn't happen automatically.
