Command screen blank?
Hello,
We got a certified GLC 300 in December 2021. No problems until yesterday. Drove from home- everything was fine. Turned it on to go back home, put in reverse and noted blank (dark) Command screen. Stopped at the red light, quickly turned the car off and back on- no help. However, after I came home, I turned it off, locked then unlocked and started up- the system was back on.
Worked fine today.
I am hesitant to go to a dealer (1.5 hr drive) since it appears to work fine now.
The car is still under factory warranty but we still have MB certified warranty for another year.
Would you take it in if it was your car?
In addition to the above problem, I noted that the driver side mirror does not close the same way as the pass. side. When mirrors close, the pass. side one goes into the position where it is almost parallel to the side window, but the driver side does not get as close to the window as the pass. one, so there is a little angle between it and the window.
Is that normal? The mirrors move fine, no noises.
Thanks

Glitches happen in software, I wouldn't be too concerned about it unless it keeps on happening. A reboot like what you did like restarting your phone and computer typically resets things.
As for the mirror, yes it is normal. That is what I seen for most MBs. Unless I was seeing things all the time, it is normal behaviour for the mirror to do that.
