GLC 220d Replacing Tunerbox Digital Audio
Hi Forum,
I have pulled out my tunerbox from the boot because i believe it is the cause of my inability to listen to the radio and instead receiving the message 'device unavailable'.
The device descriptions are "A 222 900 32 10 / 001" and "Tunerbox Digitial Audio ECE" and " 15T 257" .
It has a QR code which delivers : "00028460104008852570175"
Does anyone know where I can purchase this part from? I am located in Sydney, Australia. Or if there is a suitable upgrade that will similarly plug in? If so, I would be very grateful for the details of such device.
Finally, and slightly off topic, my 2015 GLC has the original and small infotainment screen. Can this be replaced with the newer and wider screen?
Kindest regards,
Kris

I appreciate this has been some time for you trying to get a solution. need to do some homework if buying one overseas due to different radio frequency bands. UK or Europe may have our bands as standard. US and Canada usually ‘off’ frequency. Some multi band radios a few years back has a frequency switch in them to optimise reception.
I still think given the number of GLC sold in Oz since 2015 there will be some models being ‘wrecked’ in salvage yards that have your Audio 2.0 series and not the Command system with different speakers, etc.
Good luck.

Also search Gumtree for GLC, as well as Trading Post and eBay, Facebook sellers might have a business doing auto wrecking too.
Not sure if there is a MB Club in NSW, try to get a copy of their magazine and see who advertises too.
Good hunting .
