Sorry for the noob question but the GLC is my wife's daily driver and I have very few miles behind the wheel. Shouldn't the Blind Spot Assist lights in the side mirrors flash yellow and red as cars are on either side of me? Is this a preference I need to enable? The lights didn't flash on a recent drive and in my SL they're constantly flashing (and beeping if I ignore them and use the directionalsl!)

in my 2022 GLC 300 SUV the Blind Spot indicator is a solid red triangle.

Thanks; I'll have to drive it again. Service Advisor changed some settings.

In my '22 GLC, it is a solid red if I'm in my lane and cars are present on either side. If I attempt a turn with the signals on, it flashes and beeps.
