Air con blowing warm air fan sound like an aircraft taking off!
Hello all.
I have a problem with my 2018 glc220 the air con is blowing warm air. It has 45000 miles on it. It seems to have enough gas in it.
I am trying to locate a fuse or relay for the air con or air con compressor but I am struggling.I know where the fuse boards are but don’t know what fuse it is. Also now my fan sounds like an aircraft taking off you can hear it in the cabin with windows shut and music on low.
any help or advice for this would be appreciated.

If you remove your cabin filter under the hood, you can see right into the blower fan. If there is a leaf or any debris that got in there in makes alot of noise inside. How it gets in there past the cabin filer I dont know, but i have found stuff in there. Vacuum and blow it out. Others have had issue with stuff finding there way down near the fan from defrost vent and ac vents. Stuuf being put on dashboard or kids putting something in a vent. Good luck. Not common for the AC fuse to pop. Usually a low pressure switch not letting compressor go on due to low freon. If it is low, have filled and add dye so you can find leak. Cracks line, or pebble hit your condenser just right .

Hi, yes indeed, if you have a small leaf or strange particle , that went to the air inlet, it will make a lot of noise.
you can either go underneath the left bord and take off the fan… witch too long and complicated with screws, and small spaces….
I did it on my C300, from outside: I took off the battery cover. Than you have access to the fan. Make sure motor if off for your safety!
I had annoying noise… I found a small part of a leaf … than I put some WD40 on top while turning fan manually…. NO MORE noise! Dealer told me it’s a 800-1200$ job to replace the fan.😇
