motion sickness
I googled it and there are actually multiple posts of people experiencing it with GLCs so I guess it's not just me / my car.
Some mentioned possible distortions in the windshield, which I confirmed that exist, but my E-Class also has it, although maybe to a lesser extent, and I don't get even a slightest discomfrot driving it so I'm not so sure about that.
Has anyone had a similar issue and got it resolved somehow?
How would you recommend that I tackle it? I feel weird coming to the dealership telling them I get motion sickness in a car...they'll probably road test it and will tell me that it behaves as expected unless I can point a specific issue.
Really sucks that I have to deal with this with a brand new car

I think it's at least partly the selective damping suspension. While the suspension has two damper settings, the driver has no control over them. It selects them based on how you drive. Just plodding along it selects the softest setting and that's where it just sways around. If you toss it in a corner with some gusto, then the dampers actually firm up for a moment, but you can't keep it there for a more composed ride on the highway. You always end up on the floaty soft setting when just cruising along. For comparison my AMG has adaptive suspension and I can put it in Comfort, Sport and Sport+. On the highway I pretty much always set it to sport for a plenty comfortable ride, but at the same time composed during lane changes etc.
I believe in Europe the GLC can be optioned with adaptive air suspension, but in the USA it only comes with the selective damping suspension and it's frankly crap. Only the larger SUVs, GLE and up come with adaptive air suspension. The GLB is pretty much equally bad. I've had one as a loaner as well.
Sorry, don't really have any suggestion for avoiding getting motion sick other than selling it. If you do wanna keep it then one option is to look into aftermarket suspensions.
