GLC 300 wheels alignment
I am in the US, I have a 2018 GLC 300.
I need to replace both the rear tires.
Is Wheel Alignment mandatory after replacing the tires ?
Does it make a difference if I get the wheel alignment done at an outside shop Vs the Mercedes dealership.

I always purchase and have new tires installed at my local Goodyear. Interestingly, the technician there recommended I still take my vehicle to Mercedes for alignment as they have more specialized equipment. My dealer typically charges $125 for a 4-wheel alignment which is well worth it in my opinion.

I only do an alignment when I purchase four new tires. For me this seems to be sufficient. I do know of people who travel a lot of poorly maintained roads with potholes and such who get do get an alignment annually. Also, if you ever hit a curb or bottom out in an unexpected pothole it might be worth having your alignment checked.
