2022 GLC 300 RWD
Active Brake Assist with Cross-Traffic Function

My 2022 glc300 has Active Brake Assist with Cross-Trafic Function, Here is the problem
I'm disabled and have an electric lift to hold my cart. When I put the car into reverse it see's
the lift as a car coming by, with or without the cart on it, and applies the brakes
I've turned off the parktronic , anyone know what all I have to turn off to stop the auto braking?

You need a compatible coupling. This is also an issue with trailers, but with an OE trailer hitch/coupling, the car detects the trailer etc. and disables cross traffic alert etc. Don't know how your lift is connected to the car, but with trailers the detection happens via the electric connection to the trailer. It detects when it's plugged in, but you need to use an OE compatible hitch.

Some info here.
