Door Hinge Clunking Noise
I know this topic has come up previously but, am not able to solve the issue based on the historical advice in older posts. Passenger door on my 2016 GLC is making a clunking sound when the door opens/closes. I've tried lubricant and also tried tightening the little nut below the hinge (based on the advise from the previous posts) but as the nut is already fairly tight am a little bit stuck on what to do next or if i should over tighten it?
Any advice please?

Try a different lube. Wurth SSK lube has been the German car specified door hinge lube for decades. It has deep creeping properties and doesn't attract dirt.

HAVE YOU CHECKED LOCK SCREWS/ALIGNMENT IN DOOR ITSELD. Sorry caps lock !!
Also have you checked u shaped lock hook on side door pillar, loose bolts or alignment as well ?
