Hi Folks,

I just got a GLC w253 2016 9G and have noticed a vibration when slowing down in second gear between 6km/h -11km/h I feel the car vibrating in second gear, it only stop when drops to 5km/h or if I accelerate it. The dealer said it is normal for the 4x4 Mercedes as it does not go down to first gear in C mode. Anyway If a manually shifts to first gear it's is gone, if I accelerate the car it's also gone, just happens when stopping in the mentioned speed.

Is that normal? This is my first SUV 4x4.

Doesn't sound normal to me but can't really offer any advice. Did you buy from MB dealer?

Hi, have you managed to find any more info on this? I have the same issue, I'm sure it only started after software/ECU updates when it went into mercedes. It didn't do it when I bought the car

I'd recommend checking then clutches on your transmission. I had troubles with my w205 shifting poorly at low speeds and that's what they had to replace.

My guy, went to 3 different MB specialist all of them said it's normal for this model year, the car is running with the same behaviour nowadays.
