Question Steering wheel vibration- final word

I realize that this topic has been bounced around for a long time. I own 2 2022 GLC 4 Matics, each with some steering wheel vibration, however, to varying degrees. What ever the software updates were , they were done to each car. The tires, front end, and suspension are all in order. The severity of the problem is not great, and at this point I’ve come to accept it, however, not happy about it. My wife who is not a car person at all cannot understand it, perhaps she is correct and I just don’t want to bother with it anymore. When I picked up my most recent GLC, the salesman said that his wife’s GLC has the same issue. I also had a chance to speak with the sales manager, who seemed very familiar with this problem and he felt an additional fix was needed. He said that when something was done to enhance the power steering in the most recent model years of the GLC the problem arose. I m sorry I wasn’t listening more closely to him so I would have a better understanding of what was done to the power steering. If anyone has very recent information on this issue please let me know. Has the software update resolved the problem completely for anyone? Can the dealer check if in fact they updated the software on my vehicles without me bringing it in? Such a widespread problem from a luxury carmaker to persist unresolved for so long tarnishes their reputation. I also have a GLE which most likely has very similar steering components and has no issues. Any suggestions, personal experience or recommendations that has led to a favorable outcome would be greatly appreciated. I can live with it, however, I would prefer living without it. Thank you

To check if your car has the software update performed ask your dealership to check the history in the VMI.

All they need is your VIN to check the VMI, VMI is internal.
