Contacts won't synch or copy into Comand Phonebook

Contacts won't synch or copy into Comand Phonebook
Model: 2018 GLC 250d (X253)
Issues: 1) iPhone 13 will connect via Bluetooth but won't synch contacts 2) Unable to manually add a "New" contact in the address book under "Telephone", 3) Unable to import contacts from a USB flash drive.
So far troubleshooted by deauthorizing and deleting prior Bluetooth connections multiple times and reconnected without any luck; also have reset the Comand system from "Vehicle | Systems Settings" menu.
Can someone advise what the issues are and how I can resolve this?
