Question Tire pressure

For some reason I got a check tire pressure warning ⚠️ yesterday even though my tire pressures were within normal limits. Perhaps I should reset the TPMS to the current pressures. I put 35 psi in the front tires and 39 psi in the rear. I realize that this is on the high side, however, I like the handling better than when the tires are at 31 to 32 psi. Will be hauling more weight in December when going down to Florida , then I know tire pressure should be around maximum as indicated on the fuel filler door. Just wanted to get some feedback from others with the same vehicle. It’s a 2022 with the 19 inch run flat tires .

You answered your own question. Just reset the values after verification of equal pressures.

What is within normal limits? What pressures are shown? Do they show 35 and 39? If it shows 31( within normal limits ) it’s because the pressure has dropped 10%. Just air it up.

That's one solution.
Best is to determine your preferred pressure by whatever method is chosen, then set the TPMS to that pressure.

The gas flap is your starting point. Adjust if necessary according to your ride and handling preferences. Then set the TPMS.

Once you have determined your preferred pressure and set the TPMS, then if the alert comes on, your tire is probably going flat. They respond really quickly.

OTOH it's just a seasonal thing, the TPMS is telling you to add air.

Adjusted the tire pressure to 35 front and 39 rear. I find that gives me a comfortable ride, good handling, and satisfactory gas mileage. I am just curious how far from the TPMS setting does the tire pressure have to deviate to trigger a warning?
