2020 GLC300 touring version (but I miss my '93 300SE W140 tank)
Face-lift (MBUX) Driver Assist

I am disabled and the driver assist functions of my 2020 GLC300 are a true godsend to me. According to descriptions on the net, this car has Stage 2 assist. (I think it is more like 2.5 but I still don't know everything it can do.) The fuzzy areas for me are route-based speed control and Lane Keep Assist. I understand that speed can be changed by the car when it detects a speed limit sign indicating a speed higher or lower than current, but my car will also adjust speed for corners AND SOME EXITS (boldface to indicate WTF?), sucker will even brake, steer through a roundabout, and accelerate on exit. The mechanism of Lane Keep Assist seems to be applying brakes on the side opposite the line being crossed. Is anyone here expert on the capabilities of this system? The car has Distronic, Navigation, and 5 cameras on the windshield.
Yes, I understand that autonomous driving for this vehicle is best at speeds over 40 mph and I really shouldn't ever, ever, ever, take my hands off the steering wheel, but really.......I just want to do that Queen intro like in Ford 150 ads....
