Greetings from Sunny Southern California. Dealer says my rotors are warped now that my warranty is just about up. I've complained about this issue from the beginning since I bought new in 2020.
Dealer always said they cannot depict the vibration I experienced on long downhill roads at speed. The vibration gets bad when braking, and I would slow down to 50 mph.
They now want $2550 to replace F&B rotors and pads.
Any recommendations / thoughts on how to deal with this. Dealer said the ware was not severe prior. (I call BS).

PS. any good MB service shops in Pasadena area? I don't have the space or tools to perform the work myself.

If you have reported this in the past, and it's in your service records, show the service manager your repeated complaints, and ask for a consideration.
Ask them if they did any run-out measurements when you reported it in the past.
Brakes are a wear item, so it could be that it would have cost the same $2600 to fix it in the past.

Brakes are wear and tear parts, even if you complained in the past unless car was a brand new its on you. Im afraid dealer wont do anything for you here maybe small discount on labor.
Mine were wrapped at 42K. I bought Bremobo rotors (looks like its the same brand as OEM) and Akebono euro ultra premium pads. Total for part $485. Brakes like silk now, nice a smooth.
OEM rotors and pads are cheaper if you buy them from whole sale store.
They like any other pistons brakes, so technically any shop can do it.
So if you don't like to do it yourself ask if you can bring parts and pay for labor only.
It took me about 2 hours very slowly to do the work.
