Location of the AC Evaporator Drain Tube (Youtube video included)
New owner of a used ‘21 GLC 300.
Car was blowing rancid smelling air thru the air conditioner. I can only describe it as vomit or spoiled milk. Did some searching and found a lot of info on the class action and what not and also others suggesting to spray evap foaming cleaner either from inside the cabin by removing passenger side interior panel to get to the evap, or thru the evap drain tube. There were decent videos and pictures of how to do this by the “interior panel removal” method but I couldn’t find a single picture or video of the exact location of the drain tube. So I took a video of the location today while I was cleaning my evap coils today. Hope it helps those looking to clean their evap coils to rid their car of moldy/bad smell.
