ABC not working?

I have a 2017 GLC300 4Matic and I was entering the freeway at about 55mph and accelerating. I changed the radio station and when I looked up the traffic had stopped in front of me. I immediately stomped on the brakes as hard as possible and all 4 wheels locked up. I didn't feel any pulsing of the anti-lock brakes, I was just in a 4 wheel skid. I haven't had a chance to test it again, but I thought I would ask if anyone else has had a problem with the anti-lock brakes not working?
