2020 GLC 300 tail light condensation

For the past year, I saw little condensation on the tail light. The last few rain storms, I am seeing more condensation than usual. What is the best approach to finding the failed seal or stopping moisture from ruining the tail light? Out of warranty now. Before it was always in the white section of the bottom but now it’s in the upper red.

If you're handy,

remove the whole light, and carefully look all the seams on the top and sides.

Dry out moisture with a hair dryer or fan.

Add silicone on suspicious area and all the seams on rain drop paths.

Wonder if other people are experiencing the same issue as well. Saw a few for the headlights but little on tail lights for 2020 and up.

Your seal is broken. See the discontinuation in the black seal line that goes around the tail light where I put the arrow. Should be replaced under warranty.

Good eyes to see that one. Crappy assembly. Any time I've had this problem with past cars, I dry out the lens with a hair dryer after pulling the light bulbs or whatever to get to the inside. Then I'd pressurize the assembly with compressed air at a low pressure and take leak detector (make you own) and spritz around the edge of the lens assembly. Then, after you find the leak, use a vacuum instead of the air and suck the sealant into the opening where it's leaking. Worked every time. Like fm_carv said, I'd be looking at these getting replaced by the dealership. Obvious defect that took a while to show itself.
FWIW, I had a new 1988 Honda Accord that the taillights leaked so bad, they'd fill halfway up after a rainstorm. Dealer ended up replacing both taillights and the foam gaskets between the body and the taillight that was supposed to keep out the moisture. Not a new phenomenon unfortunately. Those obviously were missed by QC.
