Fuel Additive
As part of the oil service on Mercedes Benz cars, they recommend their fuel additive. Is there something special about their product or are there similar and equivalent products out there at local parts stores ie, BG44k. Tecron. Lucas, Liquid Molly etc.

2016 GLC300
I have a 2016 GLC and nothing in the manual about a fuel additive. Just use Top Tier fuel and 93 octane.

2019 GLC300, 2017 E300
Running Techron complete fuel system cleaner right before an oil change. Smooth as butter on my w213 with 71k miles and wife’s X253 with 60k miles

But not sure if it helps or not.
Im personally use Chevron or Shell gas.
