A couple of years ago, I was backing up and scraped a metal signpost in a similar fashion. External damage was confined to the bumper cap. Internally, the BSM sensor was knocked loose. To replace and paint the bumper cap and reinstall/calibrate the BSM sensor was just over $3500.
Your damage is more on the corner, so you may avoid the BSM problem. (This problem was obvious when I would get a BSM warning on signaling a lane change to that side, despite the lane being empty.) The sensor reinstall/recalibration was $850, so that would be substantial savings.

If they can just repaint that area, then you're fine.
But if you have to get into interior trim removal or fender wells, then it might get expensive.
