2019 GLC 300 code P0301

P0301 shows cylinder 1 misfire. Does anyone else have this code coming up? what’s the most likely cause? I watched YouTube videos and it said first to try switching the coil with the coil on top of cylinder number 2 and then run the scan again. if the code comes up P0302 then you know it’s the coil for sure. If it comes up again after you’ve switched the coils as P0301 then it’s not the coil. If not the coil videos are suggesting either spark plug or the plug wire, as far as electrical answers go. Hopefully it’s not a fuel related issue this is likely much more expensive to repair especially now that it’s out of warranty. I have had my PVC replaced about two months ago by the recall. If more people out there have a similar issue with misfire can all of you please put on the forum what it was that caused the code/what was the fix? … if nine out of 10 people say they just had to replace the spark plug and it went away that would be a great clue as whatever people had to do is probably the issue. I would appreciate it. Thank you.

So, did you try to swap coils?
BTW:
how many miles ?
What is the count for missfire?
Who told you the code?

Check for cylinder compression

Easiest 1st thing is
Change 4 new NGK plugs, swap existing coils cyl1 and another. and see.

Others can be
Coil wire, fuel injector, blown head gasket.
