GLC200 X253 Refresh modifications

Hey all,
Just got the 2020 refresh model non-amg trimline and was looking to do some aesthetic mods on it.
The car has 235/55/R19 wheels on it, I was looking to run the GLC 63 staggered setup of front 265/40/R21, rear 295/35/R21.

I tried to research online but couldn't find answers, does anyone know if the fitment works?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure if the tires will fit but the 63 does have wider fender flares front and rear.
Which wheels will you be running on? What are their offsets and widths? That will make a big difference if they will fit or not.

Here's the wheel offsets visualised from the online calculators, it seems like it would work.
Regarding rims, I probably would go with 3rd party ones, however I'm unsure how to calculate the total offsets.
Current is ET38 rims with a 36mm offset, what would the total offset for the new wheels be? Etc if I'm unable to source ET30/28 rims

According to OEMwheelsize your factory wheels are:
8" wide x 19" dia. with an offset of 38 (that is what the ET means)
Don't forget you will need wider wheels to accommodate the wider tires.

Using a wheel offset calculator and entering your oem 19's vs the 21's you get a wheel that is 27mm further out from the body which is very aggressive and may rub the fender with the wider tires.
https://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Whee...et-Calculator#

I ran 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers for a while and it was very flush with the body.

I just installed a new set of wheels and went with slightly wider sizes to accommodate future wider tires at 265f and 295r.
My wheels that I ordered are 9"wide x 21"dia. ET30 and 10"wide x 21"dia ET 8

OOPS... I just remembered your GLC is a 200 and you do not have the fender flares that the AMG's have. You may have rubbing issues even with the sizes that I used...

Thanks for the writeup, your wheels look amazing!
So ET means the offset, what about the OFFSET RANGE 36-40 that's listed above? Can I ignore that in my calculations?

Wow yeah, they look just perfect and pretty much fills up the sides! You're absolutely right, I do think the new tires would rub the fenders - My plan currently is to install the AMG front/rear bumper, sideskirts and front grille, including the AMG fenders. Definitely wont be adding any AMG logos or stuff like that, I just want it to look cool but not try to be pretentious.

Still not sure if spending around $4k in mods (Wheels + bumper swap) is worth it for a base Mercedes , since new wheels would clearly show off my base brake discs too, and it might be a bit dumb.

The offset range is just a recommendation to keep any aftermarket wheels in roughly the same location fitment wise. OEM specs are very conservative, thus spacers are used or custom offset rims that lower the ET (offset) and bring the wheels out more flush with the body of the car.
My rear wheels are at a ET of +8 which is equal to the OEM wheels with a 20mm spacer on them.

I've almost always used aftermarket wheels on my cars (at least for winters) but the OEM AMG wheels are actually nice. It's up to you if you want to mod your long term vehicle. I used to modify too much and now I keep mostly stock...
